Description

This is a bamboo scoop known as the "chashaku." It is used to measure matcha in the traditional Japanese tea ceremony instead of a teaspoon. Two heaping scoops with the bamboo chashaku equates to approximately 1 teaspoon of matcha, or a perfect single serving. To clean, simply wipe with a soft cloth.
