Recommended Use: Used in herbal medicine to help fight off infections, especially of the upper respiratory tract. Supportive therapy in the treatment of upper respiratory infections (e.g., common colds). Helps relieve the symptoms and shorten the duration of upper respiratory tract infections. ECHINAMIDE is the only phytomedicinal product containing standardized levels of Echinacea purpureas three key active compounds. Two randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical studies clearly demonstrated that ECHINAMIDE reduces the duration and severity of upper respiratory infections. Use at the first sign of a viral infection.

Recommended Adult Dose: For acute needs, 1 mL every 2–3 hours up to 6 times daily or as directed by a health care practitioner. To avoid digestive upset, take with food. Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 6 weeks.

Cautions: Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Do not use if you have hypokalemia, high blood pressure, a kidney or cardiovascular disorder, or if you are taking thiazide diuretics, cardiac glycosides, corticosteroids, stimulant laxatives, or other medications which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance.
