Description

This thick, viscous oil is recommended for dry/normal and mature skin. Useful in hair recipes and anywhere where strong occlusive properties are desired. Always dilute: do not apply neat to the skin as sensitization may occur.

Sun-dried seeds of the castor bean plant are cold-pressed to obtain this useful oil. Dating back to ancient times, it is highly useful in cases where moisture needs to be locked in to the skin and hair.

Castor oil is too thick to be used as an oil on its own, and undiluted application may cause irritation on some individuals, and is so best combined up to 10% with other less potent ingredients (such as sweet almond or jojoba) for fully customized usage.

Shelf Life: 6 months to 2 years when stored properly
