• This light, nourishing oil is recommended for dry/normal and mature skin. Rich in Vitamin A and essential fatty acids. Excellent for children and delicate skin.

Description

This light, nourishing oil is rich in Vitamin E and essential fatty acids. It is very high in Monounsaturated Oleic Acid (Omega 9) at approximately 65%, and it’s Oleic acid content help the skin retain moisture, as well as protect skin from transdermal water loss.

Apricot Kernel and Sweet Almond oil are similar in composition, but Apricot Kernel oil has a slightly higher linoleic acid content (30-35%) & is a little lighter than Sweet Almond. It supports the protective function of the barrier of the skin, & is calming and anti-inflammatory. It is also nourishing, revitalizing, and emollient.

Apricot oil is anywhere from odourless to a slightly almond-like scent in unrefined oils.

Extraction Method: Cold pressed, lightly refined.

Shelf Life: 6 months - 1 year

Storage: Always keep tightly sealed in a cool, dark place. (Refrigeration is recommended where possible). Heat, oxygen, and light degrade the product. Keep out of direct sunlight.

Suggested Use

Readily absorbed into the skin. Can use at full strength (undiluted).

Goes Well With: Blends and/or single note essential oils, CO2 extracts, and absolutes.
