Description

Nature's Way Cough & Cold Recovery is made from a proprietary extract of Pelargonium sidoides (African Geranium) root. It is clinically proven, in more than 25 scientific studies, to reduce symptom severity of the common, cold, bronchitis, laryngitis and sore throat. Nature's Way Cough & Cold Recovery is non-drowsy and is suitable for children.

Suggested Use

Recommended Use:Shortens duration and reduces severity of the common cold.

Recommended Dose:Adults and children 13 years and older: 1 tablet, 3 times/day. Children 6-12: 1 tablet, 2 times/ day. Children 3-5: 1 tablet, 1 time/day. Chew or dissolve tablets in the mouth. Do not swallow whole. For best results, use at first sign of symptoms and continue to use for an additional 48 hours after symptoms cease. Consult a heath care practitioner for use beyond one week if condition does not improve.

Cautions & Warnings:If you have a liver disorder, consult a health care practitioner prior to use. Stop use if you develop symptoms of liver trouble such as yellowing of the skin/eyes (jaundice), stomach pain, dark urine, sweating, nausea, unusual tiredness and/or loss of appetite and consult a health care practitioner. If symptoms are severe or are accompanied by high fever and shortness of breath, consult a health care practitioner. Store at room temperature. In case of overdose, seek medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.

Known Adverse Reactions:Some people may experience gastrointestinal discomfort, and in rare cases, some people may experience mild nosebleeds, bleeding gums, hypersensitivity, such as an allergy, has been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use. Rare, unpredictable cases of liver injury have been reported. Keep out of reach of children.

Contra-Indications:Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not recommended due to lack of clinical data.
