Hyaluronic Acid is a polysaccharide that occurs naturally in the human body. It supports collagen production and maintains elasticity in the body. It is found naturally in the hair, skin, eyes, nerves, and joints.
This is Sodium Hyaluronate, which is a water-soluble, vegetable-derived form of Hyaluronic Acid. This means we can add it to our DIY recipes. It holds up to 1000x its weight in water, making it a highly potent hydrating agent and strong contender against the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Low Molecular Weight allows the ingredient to penetrate the skin deeply and improve moisture barriers. It is ECO-certified, COSMOS-approved, and from a non-GMO vegetable source.
Use at 0.5% to 2% in water-based recipes.
