Description
Preferred Nutrition Melatonin Complex helps you fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer. This non-habit-forming sleep aid provides melatonin alongside lemon balm, chamomile, and passionflower to help you feel relaxed, calm, and ready for a refreshing sleep. Each vegan-friendly, delicious, berry-flavoured gummy contains 5 mg of melatonin together with calming botanicals.
Suggested Use
Recommended Use:Helps increase the total sleep time (aspect of sleep quality) in people suffering from sleep restriction or altered sleep schedule (e.g., shift work and jet lag). Helps prevent and reduce the effects of jet lag (e.g., daytime fatigue, sleep disturbance) for people travelling by plane easterly across two or more time zones. Helps reduce the time it takes to fall asleep in people with delayed sleep phase disorder and reset the sleep-wake cycle of circadian rhythm.
Recommended Dose:Adult dose: 1–2 gummies daily, at or before bedtime, or as directed by a health care practitioner.
Jet lag: 1–2 gummies daily at bedtime, while travelling and at destination until adapted to the new daily pattern, or as directed by a health care practitioner.
All uses: Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 4 weeks.
Cautions & Warnings:All uses except jet lag: Consult a health care practitioner if sleeplessness persists for more than 4 weeks (chronic insomnia). All uses: Avoid taking with alcohol or products that cause drowsiness. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking steroids or blood thinners, medications for seizure or blood pressure, or medications to suppress the immune system (immunosuppressive medications), to affect mental state, or to increase sedation. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have cardiovascular, immune, liver, or chronic kidney disease, hormonal or seizure disorders, asthma, depression, diabetes, low blood sugar, or migraine. Do not drive or use machinery for 5 hours after taking melatonin. Do not use this product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Stop use if allergy occurs or if you experience headache, confusion, or nausea. Some people may experience drowsiness.
Contra-Indications:This product does not contain artificial preservatives, colours, or sweeteners; no dairy, wheat, gluten, yeast, soy, egg, fish, shellfish, animal products, tree nuts, or genetically modified genes or proteins. Suitable for vegetarians/vegans.
