Description

Melatonin works with the body’s natural cycles to effectively reset your “biological clock” to help you fall asleep faster, increase the quality and duration of sleep, support REM sleep, and reduce daytime fatigue. Natural Factors Melatonin comes in innovative bilayer tablets. It complements a healthy sleep-wake cycle by releasing 5 mg immediately upon use and an additional 5 mg gradually over several hours.

Suggested Use

Recommended Use: Helps increase total sleep time in people suffering from sleep restriction or an altered sleep schedule (e.g., shiftwork and jet lag). Helps prevent and/or reduce the effects of jet lag (e.g., daytime fatigue, sleep disturbance). Helps reset the body’s sleep-wake cycle and reduce the time it takes to fall asleep in people with delayed sleep phase disorder.

Recommended Dose: All uses except jet lag: At or before bedtime, 1 tablet once daily or as directed by a health care practitioner. Jet lag: 1 tablet once daily at bedtime, while travelling and at destination until adapted to the new daily pattern, or as directed by a health care practitioner. All uses: For use beyond 4 weeks, consult a health care practitioner.

Cautions & Warnings: All uses except jet lag: If sleeplessness persists for more than 4 weeks (chronic insomnia), consult your health care practitioner. All uses: Avoid taking with alcohol or products that cause drowsiness. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have cardiovascular, immune, liver, or chronic kidney disease, hormonal or seizure disorders, asthma, depression, diabetes, low blood sugar, or migraine. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking steroids or blood thinners, medications for seizure or blood pressure, or medications to suppress the immune system (immunosuppressive medications), to affect mental state, or to increase sedation. Do not use this product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not drive or use machinery for 5 hours after taking melatonin. Stop use if allergy occurs or if you experience headache, confusion, or nausea. Keep out of the reach of children.
